Slower is better.
This is the browser version of the slowLang fake IDE. Type too fast and the turtle gets angry. Type with patience and it runs your Python, then answers with poetry. No install, nothing leaves your machine.
Slow and steady…
Rage-free runs will build your gentle streak.
You’re offline — runs use the tiny fallback runner.
Compiling slowly…
Slow and steady… output lands here.
Rage diary (0)
How it works
- Type slower than 0.1 s per key
- Faster than that and a turtle-rage window locks the editor for two seconds.
- Stay calmer than 0.5 s per key
- The turtle is proud. Anything in between is “steady typing”.
- Press Run
- Your code runs as Python right in the page (via Pyodide), with
please()built in — then the compiler answers with a haiku. - Lazy Mode
- Forgives fast fingers and stops the compiler’s 1-in-10 lazy refusals.
- Stay rage-free
- Consecutive calm runs build your gentle streak. One rage resets it.
- Check the diary
- Every rage, refusal and run is logged under “Rage diary”, newest first.
- Go offline
- No network? A banner says so and the tiny fallback runner takes over.
- Copy the goods
- Copy-output and copy-haiku buttons sit next to Run. Randomness — refusals, moods, haikus, loader jokes — is a feature, not a bug.
